Oasis Studio is a space rooted in care, integrity, and mutual respect. Our offerings are held within clear agreements that honour both our practitioners’ time and our community’s shared experience.
These Terms & Conditions exist to create clarity, fairness, and transparency for all participants. We invite you to read them with care before booking or taking part in any of our offerings. By completing a booking, students confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to this cancellation and refund policy at the time of purchase.
Class Bookings, Cancellations & Refund Policy
Student Cancellations
All class bookings are non-transferable and non-refundable.
At Oasis Studio, our weekly classes are intentionally small and practitioner-led. When a place is booked, that space is held specifically for you and the practitioner prepares accordingly. For this reason, class bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable. This policy allows us to honour the time, energy, and livelihood of our teachers, and to sustain a fair and respectful exchange within our community.
Studio or Practitioner Cancellations
In the rare event that a class is cancelled by Oasis Studio or the practitioner:
✧ Students will receive a full refund of the class fee.
✧ Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.
Where a class is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to illness, emergencies, extreme weather, or issues affecting the safe operation of the Studio), Oasis Studio’s liability is limited to the refund of the class fee paid.
Workshops, Ceremonies & Multi-Week Courses
Due to the nature of workshops, ceremonies, retreats, and multi-week courses — which often involve limited capacity, advance preparation, and upfront costs — different cancellation terms apply.
All bookings for workshops, ceremonies, and multi-week courses are non-transferable and non-refundable, unless otherwise stated at the point of purchase.
If a cancellation is requested more than 15 days before the scheduled start date, Oasis Studio may, at its discretion, offer a refund minus a 10% administration fee. Requests made within 15 days of the start date are not eligible for a refund under any circumstances.
Once a workshop, ceremony, or course has begun, no refunds or partial refunds will be issued for missed sessions, early withdrawal, illness, scheduling conflicts, or personal circumstances.
In the event that Oasis Studio or the practitioner cancels a workshop, ceremony, or course:
✧ Students will receive a full refund of the amount paid, or
✧ Where appropriate, the option to transfer their booking to a rescheduled date.
Oasis Studio’s liability in such cases is strictly limited to the amount paid for the booking.
Physical Classes, Health & Waiver of Liability
Participation in physical, movement-based, or embodied classes at Oasis Studio (including but not limited to yoga, somatic practices, breathwork, and other physical modalities) is undertaken at your own risk.
By attending an in-person class at Oasis Studio, you confirm that you are physically and mentally able to participate safely. You accept responsibility for your own wellbeing and acknowledge that all movement practices carry inherent risks. You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to inform the practitioner of any injuries, medical conditions, pregnancy, or other circumstances that may affect your ability to safely participate.
Oasis Studio and its practitioners do not provide any medical advice and are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage, except where the law does not allow this. You agree to listen to your body, work within your limits.
